1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using miAcademia (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
miAcademia is a mobile application that provides tools for managing academies, gyms, and educational institutions, including:
- Multi-academy management with role-based access
- Student enrollment and course management
- Session booking and attendance tracking (QR-based)
- Financial management (invoicing, payments, credits)
- Calendar and scheduling
- Communication between stakeholders (owners, teachers, guardians, students)
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- You must be at least 13 years old to create a standard account, or have a guardian create a managed account on your behalf

3.3 Account Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Not share your account credentials with others
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Not create accounts for impersonation or fraudulent purposes
- Keep your profile information current and accurate
4. Roles and Permissions
4.1 Role Assignment
Roles within the App (owner, admin, teacher, guardian, student) are assigned by academy administrators. Each role grants specific permissions as described in the App documentation.
4.2 Academy Owners
Academy owners are responsible for:
- Managing user roles within their academy
- Ensuring accurate financial records
- Complying with applicable laws regarding their students’ and employees’ data
- Obtaining necessary consents from guardians for minor students
4.3 Guardians
Guardians who create minor accounts are responsible for:
- The accuracy of information provided for their minors
- Supervising their minor’s use of the App
- Managing their minor’s account settings and access
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the App’s services or infrastructure
- Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the App by automated means
- Use the App to send spam or unsolicited communications
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
6. Content and Data
6.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you upload to the App (profile photos, academy information, course materials). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it within the App as necessary to provide our services.
6.2 Academy Data
- Academy data belongs to the academy owner
- Teachers, guardians, and students can access data according to their role permissions
- Attendance records, grades, and financial data are subject to Role-Level Security
6.3 Data Accuracy
Academy owners and administrators are responsible for the accuracy of academy data, including schedules, pricing, and course information.
7. Financial Features
7.1 Billing and Payments
- The App provides tools for managing invoices, payments, and credits
- miAcademia acts as a management tool only; we are not a payment processor
- Actual payment processing is handled by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, MercadoPago)
- Academy owners are responsible for tax compliance and financial reporting
7.2 No Liability for Transactions
miAcademia is not responsible for:
- Disputes between academies and their clients regarding payments
- Errors in financial data entered by academy administrators
- Third-party payment processor issues or fees
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Our Rights
The App, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by MSICS and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
8.2 Feedback
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about the App may be used by us without obligation to you.
9. Disclaimers
9.1 “As Is” Service
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Accuracy or completeness of data
9.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MSICS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.
10. Termination
10.1 By You
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10.2 By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent or harmful activity
- Remain inactive for more than 12 months
We will provide reasonable notice before termination when possible.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through in-app notifications or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MSICS operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
